Genesis Universe is an exciting blockchain-based game where players can mint their NFT (non-fungible token) game cards. These cards can be used for player-versus-player (PVP) and player-versus-environment (PVE) battles. In this guide, we’ll walk players through the process of minting free NFT game cards and how to play with them.
Kickstart players Genesis Universe journey by purchasing GUT tokens, which are essential for buying the items players need to play the game. Players can acquire GUT tokens by purchasing them on MEXC or Pancakeswap. If players already have USDT or BNB, players can easily swap them using the in-game SWAP feature.
Swapping Tokens:
From the main map, click on the SWAP building to enter the token exchange interface.
The upper window displays the source token that players will be swapping to GUT, while the bottom window shows the destination token players will receive after the swap.
Swapping Platinum Voucher:
The Platinum Voucher is the in-game equivalent of the GUT token. players will need some Platinum Vouchers to pay for certain game features, such as minting and purchasing attempts. Additionally, game rewards are given in the form of Platinum Vouchers that players could eventually exchange back to GUT.
SWAP GUT tokens to Platinum Voucher (PV):
To exchange GUT tokens to PV, head over to players assets menu by clicking on players Profile on the upper left corner of the map.
Go to the Platinum voucher tab and click on the “+” sign to add or withdraw some Platinum Vouchers
There are three classifications for minting NFT cards.
Normal Summon = FREE Mint (Chance to obtain 1-Star to 4-Star hero cards)
Advanced Summon = Spend Summon Card (Chance to obtain 1-Star to 5-Stars hero cards)
Divine Summon = Spend $GUT or Summon Token (Chance to obtain 2-Star to 5-Stars and 6-Stars Mythic hero cards)
Open Genesis Universe Game Map:
Launch the Genesis Universe game and access the game map and navigate through the NFT workshop.
Select "Normal Summon":
Within the NFT Workshop, choose the "Normal Summon" option.
Approve the transaction and select "Normal Summon":
Within the NFT Workshop, choose the "Normal Summon" option. Approve the transaction to connect players wallet and start minting for free.
Click “Free Summon”
* Free Minted cards (Free Summon) are not transferable or tradable. Only cards minted using Platinum vouchers (PV), Summon Tokens, Summon Cards, Summon Vouchers (from events) can be transferred and traded.
To upgrade or evolve Hero game cards, players should go to the assets tab and select from the available options.
To upgrade a hero card, players need Gold Coins and Essence. Gold Coins can be collected by playing PvE, while Essence can be obtained through playing PvE and disassembling Hero Cards at the NFT Workshop (Essence).
Upgrading the level of the Hero cards are capped to a certain level. Players need to evolve their cards to continue the levelling process. Click on “Evolve” to start the process.
To complete the evolution process, different star-level NFT cards will need to consume different amounts of lower level NFT cards + different amounts of same faction cards. For 3-star NFT Cards (refer to the image below), players need to use three (3) NFT Hero cards that are 1-Star level below the player's card, along with two additional NFT Hero card from the same faction as the Hero card.
Access the Adventure Realm:
Click on "Adventure Realm" from the main game interface.
Explore the 300 levels available.
Collect Gold Coins, Essence, and Stardust to level up players Hero cards and player gameplay.
Assemble players Team:
Click the "Team Up" button to form a team.
Select heroes from players NFT Assets list.
Each NFT game card has unique combat attributes.
Mini Boss Levels:
Every 10 levels, there's a "Mini Boss" for PVE adventures.
To challenge the "Mini Boss," obtain at least 5 keys from previous levels.
Continue challenging completed levels for material drops (keys still drop for completed levels).
Keys can be purchased and are capped at 5 keys per day.
Challenge Attempts:
Players have 30 free challenge attempts per day. Additional attempts can be purchased with 2 Platinum Vouchers per attempt.
The maximum number of attempts players can purchase in a day is 30.
Challenge attempts refreshes every 16:00 PM (UTC)
No combat power or level restrictions for PVE—higher combat power increases chances of clearing levels.
Access the Battle Arena:
From the main game interface, click on “Battle Arena.”
Add Heroes by clicking the “+” sign
Team Up players NFT Game Cards:
Within the team-up interface, select three NFT game cards by clicking the “+” icon from players NFT Assets list.
Each NFT game card has unique combat attributes (Damage, HP, Armor, Agility, etc.) displayed on the right side of the NFT card details
PVP Matching:
Players with similar ranks and combat powers are automatically matched for PVP battles. Priority is given to players of the same rank, but if no opponents are available, matches are based on similar rankings.
PVP Challenge Attempt:
Players have a maximum 30 free attempts per day.
Additional challenge attempts can be purchased with a maximum limit of 30 challenges per day.
10 days of Faction Wars will be divided into 5 cycles, each cycle contains 2 stages:
Stage 1 (First day): Compete for rankings and gain points by occupying camps.
Stage 2 (Second day): Compete for resources, no points will be accumulated, but you will need to occupy the camp to collect resources. After occupying the camp, you can also use NFT cards to collect resources. Capture and attack more camps to get higher rewards.
The system will automatically allocate resources at The end of Each cycle
Click on “Faction Wars” from the main game map.
Choose a faction, and during the whole season players are not allowed to change faction.
Once a faction is full, players won’t be able to select that faction anymore (current maximum quota per faction is 50 players and will only open up after all factions are filled first.)
Camp availability within each faction is proportional to the amount of players participating in Faction Wars
Stage 1: To compete for rankings
Conquering camps during Stage 1 will earn the entire factions points that contribute to the ranking between different factions, and these points will be locked at the beginning of Stage 2.
The higher the ranking points, the higher the amount of rewards that can be mine within the faction during Stage 2.
Form a team to initiate an attack.
Begin by capturing unoccupied bases starting from the player's own camp or faction.
Unclaimed camps now comes with Camp Auto-Defense System (CADS) - players will need to battle and win before they can claim a camp
Deploy a defence team to protect players base or upgrade your conquered camp
Players are allowed to capture any camps (enemy & neutral factions ONLY) as long as it is unoccupied
Repeat the process, capture, deploy, defend, attack, mine
To further protect your camp from enemy attacks, you can upgrade its level using platinum vouchers. This increases the camp's durability, requiring enemies to battle it multiple times before they can conquer it.
Upon upgrading conquered camps to level 2 and above, AI defence system will automatically be activated even if the player did not form a team to defend the said camp
Click the “Resource Details” button on the upper corner of the map to check the current mining rate of the different types of each camp.
The mining rate depends on the current camp players choose, while the highest rate would always come from the enemy camp, and the lowest rate would be from the neutral camp.
Keep conquering the camps as much as possible to earn more points and to get the higher rank on the leaderboard
Stage 2 To compete for resources
At Stage 2 (Second day) conquering camps will no longer earn and accumulate points, yet players will still need to conquer camps for Resources Mining. At the end of each cycle, the system will automatically allocate ranking based on the remaining resources available, ensuring that resource distribution is fairer and more transparent. Duration: 24 hours.
After capturing a camp, players will be able to see the available rewards that players can mine on the conquered camp.
Start deploying cards to the conquered camp to gather the available rewards. Do note that only originally minted 4-star & 5-star NFT cards are allowed to mine for resources in Faction Wars.
Make sure that players monitor the fatigue points of players' miner cards. 4 star cards have a maximum fatigue points of 100 while 5 star cards have a maximum fatigue points of 150
After mining, players can collect the rewards by clicking the “collect” button
The Season Pass offers players a significant advantage in the game. It not only saves time but also puts them in a winning position. By purchasing it or completing specific tasks, players can access additional game elements that boost their ranking and rewards.
Click on the Season Pass Tab in the upper right part of the map
In the 'Rewards' tab, you'll find two types of rewards: 'Basic' and 'Advanced.' Basic rewards are available for free and can be claimed by completing tasks. Advanced rewards, on the other hand, require unlocking and offer an enhanced gaming experience, helping you reach new heights.
Click on 'Quest' and complete various quests to earn EXP to level up and unlock rewards. You can choose to unlock either the Basic rewards or both the Advanced and Basic rewards. Quests are divided into Daily, Weekly, and Season categories. The more EXP you earn, the higher your level for claiming rewards.
Players can also choose to skip the quests and directly claim rewards by purchasing levels to unlock the gifts on each level. Each level costs 10 platinum vouchers. Maximum levels that can be purchased per week is 25.
To unlock the advanced gifts, players need to use 600 GUT.
After 25 levels have been unlocked, click on “Quick Claim” to claim all available rewards on the unlocked levels.
One of the most exciting updates in the game is the referral system. Players can share their enthusiasm for the game with friends and family and be rewarded for it. Each player receives a unique invite code that they can share with their community to start earning rebates as others play the game.
Click on referral on the upper right part of the map
Copy the unique code or link and share it with your community. Everytime your invite spends GUT you will receive a rebate. Rebate ranges from 5% up to 15% depending on your level in the referral program. Please check the official whitepaper for more information.
GUT spent categories includes the following ONLY:
Minting NFT Cards;
Purchasing challenge attempts for PVP, PVE & Faction Wars;
Purchasing Level Keys, Skipped Animation & Stage Raid in PVE;
Camp Upgrades in Faction Wars.
Purchasing Season Pass
Referral earnings are posted per week. To check this, just go to your referral Dashboard and monitor your earnings. You will see the date, the GUT amount spent, your rebate % level and your actual earnings.
Rewards for the previous week will be distributed every Monday on a weekly basis.

Players can also manually input their inviter’s Referral Code if they have been previously invited by other players in Genesis Universe version 1.0
GUT- USDT LP Mining is one of the long-awaited features that will help players earn additional income while enjoying the game.
From the game main interface, select “Swap” building to participate in our Liquidity Mining.
Click on “Liquidity” to participate in Liquidity Mining. For first-time players, they will need to click on the “Add Liquidity” button before they can participate in Liquidity Mining
Within the “Mining Stake” interface, players can click on the “Stake/Harvest” to either stake or withdraw (harvest) their rewards.
Players can select “Max” to stake their all their funds within the game to shorten the process of entering a specific amount. Staking will be considered completed / done once they completed a game.
Upon successful staking, players can view the amount of rewards generated annually for Liquidity Mining in real time.
Players can now obtain equipment that may drop as a side reward in Adventure Realm, which can provide an additional 20% buff bonus to NFT battle power when the card's element matches the equipment's element
Players can see the obtained equipment on the Assets page
Besides, players can now purchase desired equipment in the NFT Marketplace
Players can select and equip the equipment on their hero within the NFT interface
